DESCRIPTION
The “G. Mazzini” elementary school complex is composed of two buildings (body “A” and body “B”) built in the later 1950. The total gross area amount to 2120 m2 while the total volume amount to 6503 m3. The seismic adequacy interventions are consisted in the insertion of steel braced frames with dissipative device, insertion of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer in order to increase the strength of some structural elements (beams, columns and joints), realization at the basement floor of new R/C wall structurally linked to the existing one.
