DESCRIPTION
The school “G.Pascoli” was built in the second half of the ’70s and consists of two Blocks, A (mixed masonry and r.c. structure) and B (r.c. structure), it is used as a kindergarten and elementary school. The structural interventions regarded the structural separation of the two Blocks with the realization of a seismic structural joint, the strengthening of elements like nodes, beams or columns with epoxy-bonded CFRP, the application of reinforced concrete jacketing and the insertion of dissipative steel bracings with its new foundation on micropiles.
